These terms apply to bookings of the digital Anthropology online course through violonisto.de. The provider and contracting party is:
Andreas Stefan Geiger
Ifflingerweg 50
78567 Fridingen an der Donau
Germany
Email: info@violonisto.de
The subject of the contract is personal online access to the course “Anthropology – What Is the Human Being?”. The course comprises an introduction, twelve chapters, music, learning questions, further resources, personal note fields and a conclusion. Notes and learning progress are stored locally in the user’s browser and can be exported as a text file.
The presentation of the course is an invitation to place an order. The customer chooses a contribution, enters the required information at checkout and submits a binding offer by clicking “Place order and pay” or, for a contribution of €0, “Activate course for free”. The contract is concluded when the order is confirmed and access to the course is activated.
The customer chooses one of the suggested contributions or enters an amount of their choice. The total shown at checkout is the final amount payable. A contribution of €0 creates no payment obligation. For a paid contribution, the payment methods displayed at checkout are available.
A customer account is required for personal course access. Login details must be kept confidential and may not be shared with third parties. Access is activated after a successful order and is provided for an indefinite period. Statutory rights relating to digital products remain unaffected.
Use requires an up-to-date web browser, an internet connection and a device capable of playing audio and downloading files. Personal notes and progress data are stored in the browser being used. They are not transferred automatically when the browser or device is changed.
The course content is protected by copyright. The customer receives a simple, non-transferable right to use the content for their own private educational purposes. Sharing the account, reproducing the content, making it publicly available or using it commercially is not permitted without prior consent. Customers may use their own exported notes freely.
Consumers generally have a right of withdrawal. Details are set out in the separate cancellation policy. For paid digital content, the right of withdrawal may expire early if the customer expressly requests access before the end of the withdrawal period and confirms awareness that the right of withdrawal is lost once performance begins. For digital content supplied free of charge, the right of withdrawal expires when supply begins.
Statutory rights relating to defects in digital products apply. The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, limb or health. In all other respects, the statutory rules on liability apply.
The contract language is German. This English translation is provided for information and ease of use. Order data and the contractual documents applicable when the contract is concluded will be supplied with the order confirmation on a durable medium. Orders can also be viewed in the customer account.
German law applies. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
